Privacy Policy
Effective 18 July 2026
1. Who we are
This website, tapeops.com, is operated by Sovra GmbH, Sinserstrasse 65, 6330 Cham, Switzerland (commercial register UID CHE-370.623.395). TapeOps is a product of Sovra GmbH. Sovra GmbH is the controller for personal data processed through this website.
Questions about this policy or your data: hello@tapeops.com.
2. What we collect
We keep this deliberately minimal:
- Demo requests. If you submit the contact form, we collect the name, work email, company, role, and any message you provide, together with a hashed IP address.
- Technical data. When you visit the site or when the live market tape on our pages connects to our servers, standard technical data is processed: IP address, browser type, and request logs. This is inherent to operating any website.
This website uses no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. See the Cookie Policy for the full picture.
3. Why we process it
- Responding to demo requests — steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract, and your consent when you submit the form.
- Operating and securing the website — our legitimate interest in serving pages, streaming the public market tape, and preventing abuse.
4. Where your data lives
Data submitted through this website is stored on infrastructure provided by Railway Corp. in Railway's EU West region (Amsterdam, Netherlands). Railway acts as our hosting processor. Railway Corp. is a US company; where any access from outside the EU or Switzerland occurs, it is subject to appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep it
- Demo-request data: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted.
- Technical logs: short-lived operational retention, then discarded.
6. Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can:
- request access to the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction or deletion;
- request a copy in a portable format;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
Write to hello@tapeops.com. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the EU, to your competent supervisory authority.
7. What we don't do
- No sale of personal data.
- No automated decision-making or profiling.
- No third-party advertising or tracking.
8. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change; the effective date above always reflects the current version.
